Google announced recently an update to Google Analytics that makes it possible to track a customer’s full path to conversion in the last 30 days, not just from the last click. In the blog post, Introducing Multi-Channel Funnels: discover untapped opportunities in your conversion path, they describe how the Multi-Channel Funnel feature tracks clicks from organic and paid search, affiliates, social networks and display ads, giving a much wider picture of the real path that led to a conversion.
